Another van life update

So last you heard from me on what was suppose to be a ‘daily’ blog I was in Verdun planning my return to The Netherlands to replace my rear tire. Well I can say it took a few days.

My good friend Alina messaged me saying that I needed to get my ass to Aachen to see her. So without hesitation I left Verdun to drive to Aachen Germany, a sum total of 130km. When I finally arrived she wasn’t there to greet me. Instead, she told me to get a bus to the university campus and then follow signs for Kimiko Festival. A once a year festival the university throws that attracts thousands of people. It was there where we finally met for the first time in over a year – and on a beautiful day, no less. I will not go into details as so much beer was  consumed and a lot of dancing was done. It was an incredible way to start this leg of the trip.

I love the van life. Even day is different. Every day is unique!
